Richmond Hotel Partners, L.P. E2M Value Added Fund has invested in Richmond Hotel Partners, L.P., an entity formed to acquire and redevelop a Radisson Hotel located in Richmond, Virginia. Located in the historic district of the capital city, the hotel is a 16 story full–service lodging facility containing 230 rooms, 7,700 square feet of meeting space, and a lobby restaurant and lounge. Following renovation, the hotel will be re–flagged as a Doubletree Hotel. E2M believes that the implementation of additional marketing strategies, an improved physical product, and the Doubletree brand will improve the hotel’s position in the Richmond market, increasing the hotel’s average daily rate and resulting in increased net operating income. The firm believes purchasing this infill property and resolving operational issues create a strong value proposition.
