Richard Slaven
Rick Slaven is a founder and partner of E2M as well as a member of the firm’s
Investment Committee. In his role, Mr. Slaven is responsible for sourcing and
executing real estate transactions. Mr. Slaven’s experience spans thirty-four
years in real estate development, leasing and management in office, industrial,
retail, hotel and multi–family properties. He also served as consultant
and partner in real estate operations for 2M Companies for over seventeen years.
He started his real estate career with the Gerald D. Hines Interests, later founded
the Slaven/Mabus Development Company and was a partner with Property Company
of America. Mr. Slaven graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree
with high honors from Texas Tech University and later earned a Master in Business
Administration degree from Harvard University. For the past six years, Mr. Slaven
has served on the Investment Advisory Committee for Texas Tech University Endowment.
